Are you a teacher that struggles with the technology that students are bringing to class? Are you worried that students are not able to focus on the lesson because their phones are a distraction? As educators these are two scenarios that we encounter each day. These distractions can also be a powerful learning tool, if the classroom teacher is willing to take a risk. I've been trying to incorporate and model ways in which my students can use their phones as a tool. Some times the experience ended in an epic fail, but for the most part my students were willing to try, engaged and excited about these new tools they were using.
